BHee is an exciting project funded by Brighton & Hove City Council to support its schools in their journey to sustainability. It supports the Council’s commitment to One Planet Living, a model based on ten simple principles providing a framework to make sustainable living easy and affordable for all.
Use this site to find out more about the range of FREE workshops, assemblies, teacher training and advice available to your school, as well as fantastic visits for pupils to local sites of ecological interest.
The project is delivered by Resource Futures and Sussex Wildlife Trust, and has two main strands: supporting schools with the Eco-Schools process, and developing pupils' and teachers' understanding of the amazing range of wildlife living in our city. There is also be support for schools with work on energy efficiency, workshops to help you to embed sustainability into the curriculum, and a competition for pupils of all ages.
Our resource section contains information on the wide range of support available to schools from the teams of Brighton & Hove City Council and other local organisations; downloadable resources for teachers in Brighton & Hove schools;case studies showcasing the excellent work taking place in schools around the city; land inks to other useful sites.
