"We are really pleased that we have achieved our flag after all our hard work!  It shows that we really do care for our environment by picking up litter, turning off lights and walking or scooting to school."
Missy and John, members of the Moulsecoomb Primary School Council / Eco Committee

"Achieving the Green Flag has been a really positive and rewarding experience for the whole school.  It was no way near as stressful or difficult as I thought when we first started the application process!"

Ms Pearce, Eco-Coordinator at Moulsecoomb Primary School

Pupils from Moulsecoomb Primary are thrilled to receive their Eco-Schools Green Flag, awarded in November 2012.

Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey. Becoming an Eco-School involves embedding principles of sustainability into the heart of school life. For more details see the Eco-Schools website.

As one of the UK's 'greenest' cities, it is not surprising that many of Brighton & Hove's schools are Eco-Schools. Click on the map below to find out which of the city's schools have already achieved Bronze, Silver and Green Flag awards.

The BHee project supports schools in Brighton & Hove to achieve their next Eco-Schools award, whether they are just starting on their Eco-Schools journey and aiming for a Bronze award, or experienced schools applying for their sixth Green Flag!

Use the menu on the left to find out more about how the project can support your school.  And don't forget to look at our downloadable resources pages, which include a range of resources to help you with your Eco-Schools work.
